That was the car's good side. There was a crease on the pass door and some rust around the sunroof. Solid car, just needed more motivation and shiftable trans. Greywolf (member here) has this car now.

This is my 78'. I6 C4 floor shifter, but no console, low back bucket seats, and the rock'n 8 track/with casset converter. The wheels where the first thing I changed. I really didn't like the spoke hub caps, sorry, I'm just not that much of a purest I guess. Since the photo I have also changed over to a Mustang cluster.

Wow, the stance is great, and I love the clean, no trim look! Did you get some different springs in there?

Yes, I installed 2 inch lowering springs all the way around...those other springs put the front end too low, I also installed new struts up front..
I am now looking for some ideas on breaking up all that PEARL RED PAINT with so graphics--anybody have any ideas????

Texasfairmont, your car looks incredible! I cant get over how good that hood looks, and the stance is perfect. Youve really done a great job with everything.

As far as breaking up the red, I would either TuTone the roof and quarter window area, or I would add some graphics that go between the b pillar and quarter window and up and over the roof. I'm not sure about the color, I think white or cream would look nice, but it would look as mean as the rest of the car. Black would keep the sinister look, but everyone does stuff with black. No matter what you choose, that car is one of the nicest on this site.

Great job, I can't wait to see what you decide.
    Cheers!

Maybe a graphics treatment like this one could break up the Red a bit? Great looking car, good luck!

Hey everyone 88 Turbo Coupe checking in..Had Weld Drag Lites on it but I wasnt really digging them and truthfully wanted Cobra R's..I eventually found someone to trade me some. So far I just have a 3 inch downpipe to 2.5 mufflers,K and N, Boost controller..next things to do are fix the valve cover gasket, get a 255 LPH, and then toss on my adjustable fuel pressure regulator, get a wideband to keep an eye on everything before I get too nutty..oh yeah I have a volvo FMIC but I need pipes for it..

I can't thank all of you enough for your ideas, your help when I was building this car, I know I probably bugged some of you with questions on what to do on problems I ran into along the way, but ya'll on FoureyedPride provided me with information on how to solve those problems--without you guys the project would have never been completed--thanks again--Now on with the next project (once I get this car sold LOL)
