Default Opinions on what MSD Coil is better?

What one would be a better coil?
MSD Ignition 8227 - MSD Blaster TFI Coils Red, 44,000 V, Ford, TFI $46.95,.. OR
MSD Ignition 5527 - MSD Street Fire Coils, Ignition Coil, Street Fire, E-Core, Square, Epoxy, Red, 48,000 V, Ford, TFI, $33.95.

Why would the less voltage output coil be more expensive? What is the difference between the two? I would think the higher voltage would be the better choice,.right?

I've never ran the higher voltage coil put I've ran the other on 3 vehicles no problem and that's as just replacing a stocker with one and running it with a 6al box. No problems on any of them.

I've not had any problems with msd's and stock ford tfi coil's, the coil doesn't need to be from a v8 either.

Thank you guys. I'm not having any problems with my stock coil,.just was wondering why one is more expensive then the other. The less expensive one has more output and doesn't require a wiring harness.

Higher voltage is more a marketing thing than any real benefit in practice. No coil ever
outputs any more voltage than what it takes to initiate the spark. It's very much an "upta"
    thing.

Yes, there are engine combinations that need more voltage to get a spark going than others,
but most of the time, you're not really gaining anything. If the stock coil is able to reliably
provide enough spark voltage, a "hotter" coil won't behave any differently.

I disagree. I've replaced several stock coils over the years with MSD on a EEC-IV cars and throttle response was very noticeable.
