I have run into a road block while trying to get ciphers old capri running again...
Back story: 1980 capri rs turbo that has been svo swapped. Has been converted to one fuel pump. More motor work than most of us can afford.
The former owner, cipher, posted here a while back around october time frame that he ran the car nearly out of fuel. Since then the pump had been acting up by way of cutting out... probably due to it nearly burning up.
Back to present day: i have dropped the tank and replaced the in tank pump with a walbro 255 and the damn thing wont prime. The few things i will be checking tomorrow will be the inertia switch and power going to the pump. Question, is there a pump relay on the early turbo cars? I have yet to find any literature on the subject. Any other troubleshooting advice? Thanks in advance guys.
