Default Wind screen for an 86 vert?

I have googled it but haven't found one. Have any of you guys ever see and know where I can get a wind screen for an 86 vert?

I love to help fellow convertible drivers but I must admit I do not what exactly is a "wind screen"? So the question is, what is a wind screen?

Sorry, I probably used the wrong term. The block that goes behind the front seats to block the wind coming back in. I have seen them on 94 and newer stang verts but never on a fox. Wind deflector?

I thought you meant the windshield. They call it a windscreen in the UK. I have never seen a wind deflector for a fox. You might have to find one for another model car and get creative with making it fit.
    Cheers!

I have one as part of a rear seat toneau cover on my 86 GT convertible. I got it from a company called California CarWear who later sold the design to Saleen. I don't believe they are offered for sale any more. Used would be your best bet.

Caps and convertibles are nearly a must. I keep two in both my verts - one on each side slipped between the seat-bolster and the console.

So now we know what is a wind screen! Anyway, $390 US dollars seems like a lot for the item. I think I would make one for a lot less if I really wanted one. Looks like screen material stretched between a tube frame with a hinged halves. Secure it down with Velcro straps. Can probably put one together for $60. Use the balance to pay for a road trip!
