    Default AC wot cutout relay

Can anyone show me where the wot cutout relay location is Please? My AC stopped working near the end of last year(sept). Checked and bypassed the pressure switch, checked the clutch and wot switch and all is good.

    Thanks

What year are you working on?
1986 Notchback, Recently repainted Light Regatta Blue(3J) and getting put back the way it should be. It had a 3.8 and a C5. Now it has a 5.0 and a T5.

It's been a while, IIRC it's actually under the driver side dash.

    Use the search function...

It's behind the passenger side dash above the glove box. It is attached to the metal frame of the dash.

    Ok thanks
One says strut tower, another says drivers side dash,
then another one says passenger side dash above glove box
So I will be looking above the glove box first to start.

    Thanks again for your replies

    Hi
If your car is a 5.0 with 4bb, than it is located on the carb. On the carb, front left corner of the carb, there is a dash-port with two wires connectors off it. The dash-port kicks your throttle a couple hundred rpm. when your a/c is inguaged. There is a micro-switch that at full throttle will disenguage the a/c.

    Sorry for the confusion.

85stang is probably more correct since I remember he messed with this relay before; thus passenger side of the dash as he said. ( I knew it was inside rather than outside). Now that is for the Relay, that times how long the AC cuts out for once the Switch (on the carb) is activated.

    Clearer?
