For sale is my 1984 Mustang SVO (VIN # 1FABP28T3EF102272), build date 10/18/1983 (build # 245). The exterior color code is 2A, which is medium canyon red and it originally had the leather interior. For some reason the previous owner swapped leather for cloth. This is an original Colorado car with zero rust and has only 2 registered owners. Below are the details of all the work that’s been done the past 3 years. This SVO is not perfect so here are the few issues I know about: 1) the front bumper cover has two small tears from being unloaded off the tow tuck at the alignment shop 2) Horn doesn’t work. I disconnected it because it intermittently doesn’t work and sometime randomly comes on. I planned to get to when the important things were complete, 3) a small run in the paint near the driver’s side front fender and the paint on the spats is “spidering.” The blems wouldn’t show in pics, 4) Passenger side taillight lense has a small crack. I haven’t replaced it because it doesn’t leak and because I don’t drive in the rain, and 5) rear quarter plastics have some fading/wear sports near the quarter windows, 6) when I removed the interior I found a small crack under the drivers seat where the left front seat bolts to the floor. I had it professionally welded then I fabricated a brace to prevent future cracks (see album for detailed pics). It’s no longer an issue, but I wanted the buyer to be aware of this repair.

In the past few months the following maintenance has been performed: 1) installed Motorcraft cap, rotor, NGK TR5 plugs (Feb 2013), and Taylor plug wires (Feb 2013), 2) drained/refilled rear end, 3) power flushed brake lines. All rotors and pads were replaced 2 years ago and are still very good. She still runs the factory style exhaust, but has a Magnaflow muffler and a Monza tip that resembles the factory tail pipe. If I kept this SVO the next mod would be to get a 3” DP and open up the exhaust. The transmission was drained/refilled with new ATF in Jan 2013.

The purchaser of this fine SVO will also take home with them (at their option) the following spare parts: 1) all original take off pieces to include AC parts, alternator and bracket, v-belt setup, electric fan assembly, and battery tray, 2) SVO cloth front seats, 3) original rear quarter plastics, 4) spare bumper support bar, 5) Five spare SVO wheels w/center caps, 6) miscellaneous switches/knobs, 7) original console switch panel, 8- original sun visors, 9- spare 1986 SVO rear end with 3.73s - SVO axles, brake calipers, rotors, e-brake cables, and upper and lower control arms (lowers have poly bushings), 10) spare hatch cover, 11) SVO door panels in very good shape, 12) spare A pillar trim, 13) NOS positive battery cable – it was installed while the car sat last year so it might not be considered NOS anymore, 14) original SVO valve cover, 15) original SVO intercooler, 16) SVO specific wheel locks, key, and weights, 17) original SVO struts and shocks, 18 - new spare Motorcraft waterpump, 19) Spare 84 SVO taillight lenses, 20) whatever SVO specific parts I have lying around.

My current work schedule has me working 12-14 hours/day and traveling so please keep that in mind when trying to contact me. I will try to check in nightly and answer all questions.

    $6,500 (NO TRADES)

Thanks for looking and please check out my photo albums for detailed pics.

I still plan to attend the 1st show in May. Maybe I can drive my 93 Cobra. Yeah, most of my SVO parts went to the buyer but I still have a few parts that I will be listing for sale this weekend.
