    I installed American Muscle's sequential tail light harness on my 2006. It was a direct swap. I'm sure it's possible to alter the harness for a Fox Body if you have the patience. I don't remember it being expensive.

    Its different than just faster. the lights chase the next one rather than just lighting one at a time

    Yep, basically if you had a light like OOO;
    Chase;
    Oxx - OOx - xOO - xxO

    Sequential;
    Oxx - xOx - xxO

    It's a bit tougher on a 'small' light setup like on a current Mustang, chase looks nice on some older cars that had tail lights that were quite long and thin, so you can really get the 'chase' part going.

    Chase lights up one at a time, and go out one at a time starting with the ones that lit up first.

    Sequential lights up one at a time and then all go out at the same time.

    You guys should have said that chase lights look like KITT's famous red grill light.

    Don't know if this thread is dead yet, but I'm going with the Meter4it chase/sequential kit. I figured out the '96 to '04 plug and play kit will work with my stock housing and I wanted to replace the sockets anyways so i'm going with that kit.

    Also I'm looking for my car to be somewhat over the top so I'm just going to go all out. The money factor isn't that great anymore.

    Thanks for all your opinions though guys! It's nice to hear what you all have to say!

    I'll most likely have a write up of the lights on my build page. Check it out if you haven't!!

    Yeah those are Capri tails but they are the same as the Mustang tails.

    67-68 LED Sequentail boards from CJponyparts. its about the right size, but you will need to do some cutting of the back housing, right between the 2 light segments. I used hot glue to keep the board in place, make sure you seal up the housing correctly.

    If you're running these boards on 83+ cars, you need to unmask the 4th wire in the LED kit. its hidden in the loom since the kit was designed for 67-68s that have combined turn, tail and brake. since 83+ has amber turns and seperate brake, the 4th wire (green in my case) will go to the brake lights, and the left and right turns will go to their respective wires.

    also before before before you secure anything, TEST EVERYTHING. wire it up first!! one of my boards was wired backwards and I ended up having to flip it over contrary to the instructions.

    Done and done!

    Sequential:

    Chase:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XN4Pgb5ibHE

    I need to make a divider between the 1st and 2nd lights to make it look better, but I think it came out fairly well. Turns out I didn't need the trailer converter so I saved $50.

    Also I'd like to say that Gary over at meter4it is an awesome guy to do business with! He got me set up with everything and answered a ton of my questions!

    NIZE, VERRY NIZE!

    One of these days I may go that route with the TC. I am wondering now how LED taillights would look in it.

    The options you guys have mentioned sound good and I really like the video showing the red GT. Has anyone tried or heard anything about the kit from Mustang Project? Before reading this thread, I was thinking about those ones. They are just sequential, not chase lights, for the fox body. Here is the link:
