My HO FiberTrend's Hood is only a 4" Extended. So I am hoping it won't be too bad. Also, I will be using my Kirkey Pro Drag Seats in her.

Racerxmd, what headers did you end up using? I came across your name while searching for info on Dynatech 351 swap headers. The ones that step from 1 3/4" to 1 7/8".

I used the AccuFab headers that were stepped for 1 3/4" to 1 7/8". Best Fitting Headers I Ever Had!

Also, here is a little more getting done on car. My HO FiberTrends hatch being installed. It needed a little love from my friend at "Witman Boys Racing" aka: stang79 (Todd Witman).

Did the hatch fit good other than the latch?

The hatch fit good, but it is a little big. Was told they come like that so you can sand it to get a perfect fit. Every factory hatch is a little different. No two are really alike I was told. Once the quarters are blocked sanded, my friend will make the hatch meet the quarters.

What's the weight savings you expect with the fiberglass doors? I bet it is a lot, even with the regulators and glass.

I'm glad to see you using those doors and hope you'll share more info on how they are for fit and such. I've looked at them on their web site previously and they seem good, but some first hand user feedback would be invaluable. I have to see what my cars weight comes in at as I get closer to putting it all together. If it looks like it's going to be above my target weight, I was thinking of going with a set of those doors too.

We are getting it done. The fiberglass parts you do have to make fit perfect but it is worth it. We yanked the motor out this past weekend getting ready to start sanding. The fiberglass doors are like a feather compared to the stock stuff.

Nice. Is this for drag racing only, or street also?

    Car is looking good!

I have to say it.....I hope the doors fitment and operation is much better than the company's spelling

    From their website:
"Redisigned to except Hinges. the light weight fiberglass doors. Designed for** Race car use only.** Here you have a door that has been molded from an original Mustang door with all the markings to allow for the installation of the rool up window and all of the doors moldings. The doors weighs in at 19 lbs. each and consists of an outer and inner shell bonded together. (High speed cars should consider the use of an Upper Door Latch on the window frame. this prevents distortion of the door.) The doors are sold in pairs. Single doors can be ordered by phone as special order parts. call 1(740)983-3864 for more information of to place an order for a single door."
