    Default SVO convertable

I was telling a friend about a convertable Mustang that someone had converted to SVO specs that was on ebay awhile back, Anyone have any pics of that car?

Probably a 2.3 with a turbo swap, and maybe a hood and nose swap.

I think I saved them from eBay. Don't know which computer/drive I have them on if I did. If I find them I'll throw them on photobucket and reply.

I'm 99% sure they salvaged a dead SVO and swapped all the parts onto a convertible.

I'm not a huge fan of the "SVO convertible" concept, but the car was well done from these pictures....

I can't say that I'm all that crazy about it either, but if you have a Turbo GT convertible on hand, that's most of the work done right there. It doesn't look all that bad, but if someoje can take a GLX.convertible and make a Pace version, you get an "A" for effort...

I really like that. Someone did a very nice job and hit most, if not all of the marks when it came to details.

I emailed him for some pics. I can forward what he sent if you want, there's one at least that wasn't already posted (its currently my desktop).

If someone tells me how to upload them here, I'd be happy to put them here.

I really like it. Definitely done right, and probably the way it would have been from Ford if it were ever produced (but with SVO seats of course!).

There was a dealer back in the 80's that did that. Faulkner Ford I think. I have the magazine here somewhere about it. I'm thinking that they added the SVO shet metal to the V8's.

I like it. I've always had a day dream about doing something like that. I've got enough extra parts to do it, other than the body.
