Default 79 ghia coupe vin decode please

I just bought my clean title 98k mile 79 notchback ghia it has an outstanding condition body drivetrain and the interior is a piece of art not only for its age but it's quality. I just want to be sure of what I got so here is the vin please let me know what you find out. Also if someone could point me in the direction of how: valuable and rare my vehicle is I would appreciate that too

That is a very nice car! All original, nearly everything working. I almost wish that I had found a car like that when I was looking. I love the cloth seats, woodgrain trim, A/T, the whole lot. I know that its your car, but watching the video and the numerous comments of "not sure how long that's going to last" give me the impression that having a factory original car isn't a very high priority. If you only knew how rare factory original cars have become, finding on gets harder and harder as the years go by.

Thanks for sharing the pics and the video, it was nice while it lasted.

I do not know but Marti Auto Works can tell you. They have all of the data from Ford's database. If you order an "Elite", "Deluxe", or "Personailzed Statistics" Report you will get statistics on your car. Statistics are not on the "Standard" report so make sure you order one of the other three.

You can order a Marti Report here: http://www.martiauto.com/reports2.cfm

You can see samples of reports ordered by FEP members here: http://vb.foureyedpride.com/showthread.php?t=103327

Well fox chassis you have gone above and beyond my expectations and thank you so much. Maybe one day I'll figure out what those accessory weight front an rear options mean

  13. #13

    Default

Front and rear "accessory reserve load" is the maximum amount of weight of options and aftermarket equipment that can be added over each axle before the weight capacity of the axle is considered overloaded. Some of the original accessory reserve load capacity has been used up by the standard and optional equipment installed at the factory when the car was built. The F and R number on the door sticker is the capacity that is remaining.
