    Default It's Finally Home

It's taken three weeks but it is home. And for Fox here's the buck tag. It has tilt steering, delay wipers,no radio so I don't know, it did have a rear louver factory but second owner said it blew off going down the highway.

I can't say if the louvers were factory or dealer add-on. They were an option in '79 but I have never seen a '79 tag with the louvers code that was on '80 and later tags. It may have been a different code in '79, there may be no code at all for them, or the cars that claimed to have factory louvers were really dealer add-ons. I just don't know yet.

I cant believe you got all that off that tag, and there was a tag underneath that said road abrasion on it.I have it too. What colour interiors did a Pace car come with?

I've been studying buck tags for a while.

The secondary "Road Abrasion" tag goes along with the "RA" code on the primary tag.

I was wondering how to tell if this was an actual Canadian car? Would anyone know how to tell?

All PCs came with Black interior and Recaro seating. Recaro seating was exclusive to the PC that year.

If you have access to Ford's database (Marti Auto Works does) you can tell where the car was originally ordered through. Otherwise you'd need the DSO from the door tag, the build sheet, or the metal tag that was originally affixed to the owner card.

Some "export" models (Europe, Australia, etc.) etc. did as well.

And speedometers can easily be swapped.
