Talking New DD. 1986 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe

Well new to me. Its an 86 with an 88 rebuilt motor, aftermarket intercooler.
    Cold air intake. 34lb. injectors.
88 rear end with 3.55 Gears, limited slip, rear disc brakes, new head with roller cam, 95 Mustang Throttle body. Runs like a top. Cold ac.
Its a real joy to drive, I consider it a real blessing to have this car.
    My first Turbo car.

    What do you guys think?

Always likes these- and you would be amazed what you can do with that little 2.3 .. Go to the 2.3 section of this site and look- some of the guys have done some amazing things with them. There is at least one member that has turned drag slip times with his turbo 2.3 that make my 5.0 powered GT look like a doorstop.

I called and spoke to Marti Auto, and they said they did a few, but are not doing anymore at the moment for Thunderbird. I called regarding my 83 and mentioned that i knew of a few getting done. He said the people that got them somehow tricked the system....whatever that means.

I like it a lot. You hardly ever see that color. I really liked my 85 except for it overheating all the time. Good luck with it.
