My Twister II

This is my 85 Twister II, my best friends dad bought it brand new and i have been around it since i was a kid and was finally able to buy it this weekend. Its a 5-speed t-top car and im waiting on some more of the paperwork but i believe it is also a 3.08 optioned car. It only has 11k original miles

I will get better pics one i clean it up good, it has been sitting a long time

Congrats. Looks like a nice ride. Looking forward to seeing some of the paperwork. There were thirteen made with 3.08. All thirteen were Bright Red and all thirteen had a 4V carb and T-5 five-speed. Ten were originally ordered by one dealer (five with T-roof, five with solid roof).

Only downside is he had the car a few years before he new how rare it was so the motor is modded some and not 100% original, and yeah I am in Kansas city

If the motor can be made to look like a stock motor again, I think it is no big deal.

Definitely want to see more pictures even if you haven't cleaned the car up yet!

I think it's a cool car. When he was asking $13K, I thought it was too high. He ended up coming down to a more reasonable figure though. I'm sure you did alright. A lot of people only want original cars. Don't let anyones comments bother you. There are cars for everyone.
