Here is mine. It is pretty much stock with exhaust, an aluminum driveshaft and subframe connectors being the only mods. It is driven almost daily. Between my wife and I we have put over 10,000 miles on it in the last year. She is well used but still a good runner.

Ok I know the car. You have the polished american racing wheels. Lance took 3rd in his King, you took 2nd and your president took 1st.

What do you guys think a real, unpainted, Saleen body kit is worth, without the wing.

whatever someone is willing to pay ... but if the front airdam is an original from 1985, you could start at $1500 and see where the bidding war ends. The rear spats from an 85 will bring big bucks too. these parts have not been made since 1985, the original bucks are gone and they were not produced beyond those that went on the 139 cars that year. If you have some that are original and in good condition, don't post where you live or you may get robbed.

If you've talking about the ones I have posted on Craigslist (I see you live in Des Moines too) I cannot sell them to save my life. I paid $1300 for them but it included a gold stripe kit (worth $300) that I sold to someone restoring their 89. I've had the kit on craigslist for a month and they just wont sell. It appears no one has any money. I have to tell you though. They are real and most likely the last unpainted NOS set anywhere and I even have the mounting screws from Saleen.

I bought them to put on an 85 GT I bought. The GT has been wrecked so many times I didn't want to waste them on such a POS. Soooooo I said to-hell-with-it and bought a real 4I Saleen I found in St. Louis (see the red Saleen in the 2nd post).

Daaaaaaaammmmmmnnnnnn. When i was 19 i bought a 86 with a blown motor for 200$. Body was great so was the interior. Had been repainted at some point. I remember wondering wtf was with the numbers on the front, the black rims and odd kit/wing. Had no f'ing idea what i had untill these pics. Also thought i screwed the guy i sold it to. Had some older fellow pull in the yard one day and offeres 3000$ cash. Of course i said yes i mean it was a non running car sitting in the yard in my way. Explaines a lot.....shoot me now!!
