Default best EFI 5.0/AOD upgrade for $150 or less

name a couple? it's a 89 LX vert- has CAI, 65mm TB, under drives, full exhaust, EGR deleted, A/C deleted, and a couple other little typical things

I'm trying to find a decent performance part for sub $150 to help pay him for welding my SFC's in my 83 GT -so far I found a E303 for $90 but I'm pretty sure he'd need valve springs and a tune for the car to act normal/ be safe

this is what I have found
make a newer CAI for him- (pieced together) $???
    E303 for $90
TCI AOD valve body for $150 shipped
    lakewood 50/50's for $85
71 Dodge Demon Green/Blk big turbo slant 6 in progress
    83 GT Red/Blk HCI 306/ 3550/ 4.30 8.8
    93 LX Reef Blue/ Grey stock bolts on's/ T5/ 3.55 8.8

Get him a gas card lol..

Liking the 50/50's though. Or see about getting him the parts for an electric fan set up (maybe not a performance part, but should free up a few horses and help with cooling). He doesn't need any dress up parts? I imagine he has sunframes, but it's not on the list..

Yes sorry he has MM full length SFC's

I will likely give him cash for gas and pay for him to race at Rock Falls Raceway in Eau Claire WI when I go on Sept 29...

He should be able to run an E303 without issues, and without changing anything else. It's a relatively small cam.

the cam I did find after research was a Crane "B303" cam

I was told on Corral it would need valve springs to rev it decent and would be slower than the stocker..

If I can find either one cheap enough- everyone around the twin cities area thinks the GT intakes worth gold... ($150- $200)

Stall would be nice but IIRC they're $500 or so new for a AOD so finding a used one under $150 is gonna be a stretch
