Nothing specific. We should get together for coffee or something.

Not right off hand. I don't frequent Lake Stevens too much anymore. I know Safeway has a little cafe type seating area.

Troy, the online car show is the best forum for build threads. Nice thing about this site is you won't have everyone telling you to throw a 302 in it. At the same time if that is your choice, we will also cheer you on.

My 83L was originally a 3.8L car and it now has an efi 5.0 aod.

The 3.8L has the same bell housing bolt pattern as the windsor series engines so yes a 351w will bolt to the transmission. You do not need to swap the k-member for a 351 but you do need swap headers and oil pan.

My 81 Black Magic has a 400 which is a 385 (cleveland) series engine. I did swap k members so I could sit it deeper in the car.

We're here in smokey point off exit 206. Best place to see foxs in the area is the arlington burger king on saturday nights. The the two big shows of the year are "the mustang round up", then "props and ponies" which goes fast because only 100 cars are alowed in.

Schoolboy is working on his beauty sleep right now... The 100 mustang limit was a number that was set by the person that started the event. The event was designed to be a fund raiser for the war bird museum located at the Skagit County airport ( Bay view Airport). The museum charged the general public admission to see the museum, the war birds, and 100 mustang cars of all years. It was a great time for all. There were 3 P-51's, 2 AT6's, an A-4 Skyraider, and other light duty high wing aircraft. The car show part of the event included trophies and "pilots choice" awards. They flew the war birds all day, did an exhaust competition, with one renegade entry that brought tears to your eyes, and had some of the hottest pop corn in the goodie bag. The cost to enter the event with your car also goes to the fund raising effort. The first year there were actually 99 mustangs, and the 100th slot was occupied by a sneaky white Capri that is known to roam the area.... I guess it is who you know that gets you past the bouncer. Might even get to meet an Apollo astronaut if you keep your eyes open.
