Default 82 RS Black Magic one owner

How much do you think I should pay for this one owner black magic? It has a 84 302 HO engine with a W/C 5 speed, the car is solid but need paint.

The inside rear seat needs restore, the two front bucket have been restored and it needs a headliner.

Looks pretty good at a glance. Which options does it have? And does the engine compartment look like stock '82, or stock '84, or is it a collection of aftermarket parts?

    Love the BM Capri!

If it had T-tops, I might be trying to fight you for it!

More information as to the drivetrain condition, driveability, and the interior would help to determine the current value.

    Good Luck!

What year did they switch to non bubble hatch backs?
I didn't realize they made them without the bubble backs. I like it because the tail lights line up much better with the hatch...
Very nice. I'd love one like that.

79-82 Capri have the flat hatch just like the Mustang. The 83-86 are the bubble back hatch and matching rear bumper cover and tail lights.

I had an 81 or an 82 capri w/inline 4 and it didnt have a bubble hatch. Hell it didnt even have a wing on it but it looked clean. It was pretty much gutted lightened and was pretty ballsy for a 4banger

Bubble hatch started in 1983. The 79-82 Capris used the same rear hatch and bumper cover as the Mustangs for those years.

This looks a lot like a Black Magic I wanted terribly a little more than a year ago.. I found it on a craiglist ad in Lexington, KY. The person who bought it ended up selling it very shortly after, and then it was sold yet again by the following owner...
