I know, right?I was offered a job for great pay and outstanding benefits. My wife says I'd be stupid to pass it up, so I accepted the offer. Unfortunately, being that we JUST moved to Florida last year, we are not able to move the family this year. So I'm moving up by myself. If all goes well, we'll move the family up next year.
But, on that same token, it put's all my projects on hold. Ah well. c'est l'vie.
Cool, more money will equal more projects in the future, hopefully. I may be making a move soon myself for similar reasons. If I get the job it will be a $30-35k raise.

Yea, mine is about a 30k/yr raise over what I made last year, and the two previous years. I was offered $3k/yr more than what my wife is making right now, and she's been teaching for 13 years.
Teaching pay is not the best, but on a good note Missouri has one of the top 5 pensions in the country for teachers.
I am hoping to get on the railroad and could know more by tomorrow. Everybody cross your fingers for me.

What area are you moving to? Just wondering if it will be close.
I would like to make it Saturday, it sounds like fun. My daughter throws shot putt and discus, and Districts are Saturday. I can't miss this. She currently holds the school record in shot put, and does pretty well in discus also. I am keeping my fingers crossed that she does well. I am not sure when the track meet will be over, and if I will still have time to clean the car up and make it to this. I will try though.

I'm in the south-east area, I think. Bannister/435 area. Made the drive without issue. The horrible roads beat the snot out of my car, I'm going to have to go through the front-end really soon.
My chances of attending are quickly diminishing.... Mother's Day plans have now leaked over into Saturday/today. If I can make it I will, but it's not looking good. Sorry guys.

Rain chances are now showing very slim
Yeah, it looked much dicier early in the week when they were talking 60% T-storms. Looks like that is sliding back to Sunday night/Monday now. A few raindrops are fine - it's when they talk about a moderate severe risk that I get nervous...
I took Friday off work to get all cleaned up, so I should be good to go.

I don't know if I'll make it or not. I shattered the rear window of the Cobra, bent the top frame a little. Not a happy cramper with plastic glued to the top to keep the weather out.

Cleaned up for tomorrow
I used the Cobra to move here. I had the trunk divider out of the back, because I couldn't find the push pins to hold it in place, and I could get more in the trunk. I unloaded the car Saturday, but I didn't move everything back where it was supposed to go, namely the subwoofer box. When I put the top down on Sunday, the speaker box caused some problems.
I can't afford to order the parts right now, so the plastic sheet will have to do.

It rained all night. Stormed pretty hard. I looked outside at 8:00, saw it raining, and made plans with the wife. I didn't think there was any way it would stop raining and clear up by 10:00 for the show. I was driving down 152 highway and seen you headed west, with the T-tops out. (I am assuming you were the only Twister there, LOL). The car looked real nice, wish I could have seen it up close.
Anyone else show up? Any other fox bodies?

I'm moving back to Columbia Mo in the middle of June this year. I'd would like to meet up with fellow four eyes. Hopefully you'll all plan to get together again. I have 1986 mustang gt convertible. I don't have pics on this computer yet of my car. It's the red convertible that was posted on the Mustang Strugis thread.
I am planning to go to this in June.
