    Default Mini Tubs

Just wondering, have any of you guys done a mini tub on your car? And what are the pros and cons of it once it is done.

Yes. It's quite a bit of work. You can fit a much larger wheel and tire combo afterwards.

My Capri is mini tubbed. It was not difficult. If I were to do it again I would probably not do the full width of the mini tubs, just so the back seat modification would be easier.

I was wondering about the interior panels having to be cut and the width on the seats... What was needed? Or how much would you take off of the tub to make everything fit comfortably?
    Thanks

I'm still working on my split back seat. 4 inches has to come out of each upper back seat . The interior panels do need modification, Mine are cut to fit but are not finished the way I want as of yet. If you search for threads by "Brian's shop" his thread shows a very nice and clean way of trimming the panels.

Good Morning ALGOSVO. I just posted where I am with the decision to tub or not to tub. Question sir. Did you consider just widening the factory tubs? I ask because I too would like to keep my rear seats and interior. I'm sure I'll catch heck from some with wanting my cake and eating it too. But, if you love fax bodies your skin is pretty thick!

    Please advise mike357

    Thank you much!
