Default 94 F-150 puked tranny fluid

My daughters truck, 1994 f150 xlt 4x4, puked all its tranny fluid from the flywheel inspection plug Monday morning. She was able to get back home before it stopped moving completely. The tranny is a 4R70W 4DE-W as far as we can tell, and now I am scratching my head as to what to do now. The truck has 220 thousand miles, with its second 5.0 engine. My daughter is a Ford girl, and is on her third Ford pickup/Bronco. She is not ready to give up this truck yet, and I need help figuring this out! Any ideas?

The inspection port is just a plug correct? If so I believe the TC has a drain plug that will line up with this port. Rotate the engine until it lines up. If the transmission was serviced, maybe the plug was not fully tightened and is leaking.
Or the TC to transmission seal catastrophically failed and blew out.
