    Fascinating. Didn't know about that! For what it costs, I'm certainly willing to give it a try! Messing with that sort of thing is a bit down the road for me though.

    It helped but didn't totally eliminate the problem. It tends to prefer a higher idle than I prefer, about 950 rpm. And if I adjust it lower the problem becomes more evident again.

    I know this is an old post and thread, but I did this not long ago (see first post of thread) and it stopped my surging and hanging idle instantly! Thanks for the tip.
