Thank you for the pictures of encouragement.

I so want to start digging into my Ghia. I'd like to start this summer. I'm taking summer classes to lighten the load for the remaining semesters. I should graduate in early-July 2017.

We'll see if I can start working on the "Project Plan" in July, if not sooner this year.

Most of that sea of wires just gets shortened, and the CPU harness needs to be powered up. should be straight forward except the battery relocation.

it was a quick and easy way to mock-up the pipe without a bunch of trial and error, and at 4 bucks apiece a great deal

Just went through your thread again as I have been working on the 86 now haha. I do have a couple questions for ya. For the throttle cable, which one did you end up going with? Is it a factory super coupe throttle cable? Also what trans and kickdown linkage are you using? He has the factory tranny bolted up to it and it uses the rod style kick down linkage where as he will probably be needing a cable setup. Great work on your build! The heater core hose part numbers should save me some time lol

Well done, VERY well done. Sexy private parts, Private!

The properly piped and intercooled Supercharged Essex 90 is the most engine bay unfriendly beast ever....like putting the most dynamic winningest distance runner you can find, like Ethiopian Haile Gebrselassie, on a treadmill in a small pickups tray...that thang is trying to freakout!

I remember looking at the mind-bending complication of the October 1974 previewd Porsche Turbo Carrera, a 2.6 liter turbo engine based on the 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera Turbo RSR 2.1. Sure, they were air cooled, and had a big fan to pacakge, but even without an intercooler like the 1978 to 1989 3.3 version ran, the addition of a turbo just sucked up space like a black hole. A flying contact lense wouldn't make it to the ground.

As a kid, I had a "Supercars of the 70's" book, and the Porsche Turbo engine bay above was to me a mind boggling creature of pipes and bends and aluminum pancakes that looked like a 'take that you Bee-ach" Apollo 13 git ya'll home re-engineering project.

Same with the Group 5 RSR and Group 4 Carrera Turbo...

    http://www.total911.com/ten-photos-t...rsr-turbo-2-1/

The whole concept was to out do a twelve or eight cylinder tradational performance machines with the addition of just an iron lung.

Its taken about 30 years to perfect the art form of making a little six in a Mustang look as sexy as other forced induction engines, but you take the cake.

Even in the oversized MN12, the engine engulfed the engine bay...
