    Default Wheel spacers for skinnies?

I am mounting draglite 3.5 fronts onto my GT that has 87 brakes. They are very close to clearing except hitting the brake pad clip. Are you guys using a spacer up front? What size? Or does the clip come off? I don't want to resort to smashing the clip flat with a hammer.

You said you don't want to, but I hammer the clips flat on mine.

Never had to run any kind of spacers with 15x3.5 Draglites with stock 87-93 V8 brakes.
