    Default Wheel Refinisher

If you are in the Nashville TN. area I can recommend Hubcap Annies for your wheel refinishing. I took mine and dropped them off on Monday and picked them up on Friday. The cost is normally $80 per wheel. I cleared mine myself so it was only $50 per. I wanted to use a urathane clear and they use laquer.

They have a fancy computerized lathe thingie that looks like some kind of thing from the future. They also have the ability to striaghten bent wheels and who knows what else.

I will be taking more wheels in the future for sure.

    Those look great!

Did they paint the insets or did you paint them in addition to the clear?

No they painted them. I was going to have them left natural but the guys down there convinced me to let them apply a matt aluminum to the pockets and lug holes. I think they look good painted.

    I have to agree!

The wheel stud holes and the insets painted give just a bit more detail to the wheels. Nice contrast to the machined face.

I have a set of the 14" aluminum wheels for a 84 GT that are going down next, I'll have them paint the holes on those too.
