for sure... hoping to get the car out this year.
If its running and I'm not working, then I would definitely be there.

Went to two last summer, never saw any 4 eyes.

    Free hotdogs though.

The fox cars tend to flock together at those anyway, wouldn't be hard to shuffle the Aero guys and 4eye guys into seperate groups.

Wednesday nights all summer long. Free hotdogs, pop. Pretty massive meets too.

Since it's on the reserve, CPS and RCMP have no say if you decide your tires have a little too much rubber on them and you want to shed some weight on the exit road.

I don't think I'll be on the road this summer, but this sounds great!

It's a nice drive through the Cowboy Trail from Edmonton. I'd be up to coming out once in a while! Isn't there a big all ford show or a Calgary Mustang club show at that Casino?

From Lethbridge, but will be working in Calgary all summer. Just look for an SVO, either blue or green with Alberta plates. Sounds like a good time and looking forward to meeting some FEP brothers,

My son and I took the SVO to the Grey Eagle Casino on July 30. It was a beautiful night and there were A LOT of cars altogether. I would say at least 200 and there were some beauties out! Some said they've only seen dozens or less at times so we got lucky with the weather. They had free hot dogs, drinks, popcorn and if you "registered" (take your first name and put it on a list beside a number, get a lanyard and tag) and you get two free beer EACH week you go in the casino.
The nicest IMO?...a 69 429 red Shelby GT500 that was soo nice and correct, the under hood especially. Too many cars to mention oldies to brand new, imports and domestics.
One of my reasons for going was to meet a member of the Calgary Mustang Club whose ad I saw on their website for a FREE fox body car cover (I only had to meet him there. Nice guy. Used to have an SVO (sold it and now has a 1999 SVT Cobra vert. Hence the giveaway!) Really good SCORE! He even believes he or other members may remember one of the previous owners of my car.
The oddest car was this little rat rod with sculls on the carb inlets, it barely came to your waist, had an awesome patina and white walls. The shifter almost touched the roof and was a beer tap. Never seen anything like it.

I only saw one four eye and it wasn't anything too special. Not really parked for part of the show but a needing attention dark red 84 GT (I didn't notice, but the pic didn't work I guess). There were also around five aeros. I wished I had my '82 out and ready to go! This needed four eyes!

Default 2013 Bonavista Show and Shine

I decided to put my 1986 SVO into this for the heck of it. It was just down the street. It was a long afternoon but it was nice. There ended up being just over 200 paid registrants and this was the only 80's Mustang there! There were a few taking closer looks It sounds like the organizer Al Swanky may not do it next year though!

Was at the Grey Eagle agian last night. Boy, a nice evening sure brings out the people! There were easily 200 cars there last night. I took the '82 last night seeing as it running again. There was one other four-eye there. I like the license plate!

Default Lake Bonavista Show and Shine is on.

Saw this on a liquor store window yesterday. So even though the previous organizer did his last show last year someone else took over and the show will go on! Blainer?

Default Calgary Airport Tunnel Opening Celebration Show and Open House

The city had an opening ceremonies/ open house with a car show and tell for the opening of a somewhat controversial tunnel under the airport runway expansion. 1400 feet long, three lanes each way. I went with the Alberta Mustang Auto Club group of 39 cars which we put in chronological order. Mine was the only 80's car and one of two Fox bodies.

    Default Airport Tunnel Pictures Continued...

There were about four hundred cars total I think I heard. Many exotics, super cars and other customs. This particular group was all through a local high end tuner company I had never heard of.

    Default Airport Tunnel Opening Continued...

Two of my some favorites for the day. Not one, but TWO Deloreans! A Wicker sided imported Bentley and a Rolls Royce Silver Ghost even.

The tunnel sides each had three banks of these super turbine, noisy fans that were running most of the time while the cars were all setting up. Holy crap do they create a breeze when they get going!

Default Airport Tunnel Show Last Ones.

We as the groups had to be there at seven am. It was a pretty good turnout for four hours while they shuttled people to the show. The city had emergency and other services set up with displays on the other side of the tunnel. I even got to sit in the back of a cop car

Among all of the cars I think I counted 19 Ferrari's of which 15 were red.

There were even close to 20 of the really old classics.

Good time, met some new people from the club and it didn't rain. Too many cool things to possibly show them all.
