    Default carnage....

    went for a sunday drive .... went to hit 2 gear and this happens......








    car went sideways on a 2 way street almost hit a parked truck!







    ?.. i did break the bolt that holds the lower control arm where can i get that bolt?.

    and yes i ordered some battle boxes.

    Damn that's crazy! That sucks, but it could have been worse.

    They sell control arm bolts at latemodel restoration that are as strong as the originals.

    Wow... can I ask what Lower Control arms your using and what kind of busshings are in them?

    umi tubular control arms...

    and the torque boxes were weakend by the previous owner who had installed south side bars.. i had them welded up but no good as you can see.

    Southside bars are torque box killers,I tore out the Tq boxs on my 83GT because of South Side bars and a set of ET drag slicks. What tires were you running on the rear,street or drag radials? I guess that new found power did the trick

    at the time i was using drag radials.. funny thing is i was just cruising when i turn one corner and went to get 2 gear it just let go..no one gladly was hurt but it was one hell of a twist and ride.

    Why do you have an air bag on the drivers side?

    wieght jackers suck too i had them on my 91 s charged can with drag radials they tore out 1 torque box simular to that, i welded it all up do supports and ran street tires lol

    simple the car is a daily driver so when i go to get groceries sometimes i buy heavy stuff (water, rice, etc.) so i just use them as jacks.. pump them up to say..35psi and bingo.
