Default Cool "Timeline" Shot of My Stable

Never really had all my cars in the same place at once for any pics. Not that this was a photo opp...today I was cleaning out the garages so I borrowed the driveway of the vacant house across the street. Kind of neat seeing them lined up by year...so I grabbed the camera

Luckily I got done cleaning and moved them back home just before the guy next door decided to start cutting his grass (property line is 10' from this driveway)

That '05 looks like a school bus next to those Foxbodies, LOL.

Nice collection you have there. I don't envy you for having 2 black cars though. Man, one is hard enough.

It definitely FEELS like a much bigger car....but damn what a difference in power, handling and overall fit & finish over 20 years!!

BTW...did you get the GT Hood Stripe pics I emailed you?

Yes I did and thank you so much. Sorry for not responding. I thought for a minute my Turbo had had the hood painted but it looks just like yours (only not in as nice a shape of course, LOL). For some reason I was thinking the black stopped at the hood "step" and didn't go passed it. It does indeed. Thank you for taking the time to do that. That's what I love about this forum!

Is there a picture or build thread on the '82? I love those so much. I have seen the ones on the ''83.

Very nice stable. Beautiful cars! I always wonder when someone has cars that are so similiar, how do you decide what car to drive on each given day? Which one is your favorite?

There was no build on the '82...it is a bone stock, all original 13k mile car. There was a thread about the 18hr compound, polish and wax job I did on it to bring the finish back to life...I think that was back in the fall of 2008.

The TRX's on the '83 are actually from my '82. I just swapped them for a big show coming up in two weeks.

It does....I backed the '82 across the street first, then the '83, and so on...

But in this order, it is how they would finish on the track and how they stack up in HP: 365, 210, 175 & 157

I don't really have a method...right now I am enjoying the hell out of the '83 The '82 won't see much action this year....just got it home from storage and the radiator is leaking, and the altenator has been making some noise since last summer. Think I'll keep it parked for the summer and iron out those issues this coming winter.

I'd sell the Saleen if my wife would let me It is a hell of a car, and I bought it new with the intention of keeping it. But that was before I landed my two dream cars.

The '82 GT has to be my favorite....I chased it for 21 years from the original owner. I also chased the '85 from its original owner for 15 years....so 36 years collectively between those two. It's why my license plates read: MYDRM82 and MYDRM85

I'd like to put an '84 GT in that missing slot someday

I understand that. It seems like there is always some project that needs to be done when you have multiple cars. It seems like I am ignoring my Mustang right now, because I have the interior torn out of the 92 Camaro, in preparation for new carpet. If I was smart, I would completely finish a car before I bought and started another. Then again, there is always maintenance like the radiator and alternator. Mix in working, kids and their events, life ect, it's amazing we get anything done.

I would love the Saleen, but only if it is N/A. That '83 is definitely my favorite out of all 4 of them, but you know I'm biased! haha You could probably get ten grand for that in Hemmings. I hope you email the previous owner some photos, he'll be eating his heart out!!

It is N/A Bryan :-). And I have kept the previous owner up to date on all the work and the results...quite impressed for sure!

Link...my first car when I was 16 was an '82 Capri RS. That car started all this madness ;-). When I make my million and complete the collection of Four Eyed Carb'd GT's...I'll start on the Capri collection . But let's not hold our breath ;-)

Excellent group of cars! Your '85 is my favorite of the foxes. Did you say the '85 and '84 are Predator's or do I have that mixed up?

I like your Saleen just as it is, without the added on rear deck wing you see on many of them. The redesigned back end on those are very cool. Just enough to standout in a crowd of 05-09s
