Default 35th Annual VMOA Mustang Car Show Cupertino, Ca

Just a quick FYI to anyone in the area.

The Vintage Mustang Owners Association and
Nor Cal SAAC Cordially invite you to our 35th Annual CAR SHOW

    Saturday, June 16, 2012

    http://vintagemustang.org/CarShow/carshow.htm

I'd like to see a lot more 4 eyes than just the two we've had the last couple of years. Please try to enter your own, or at least attend the show!

84GT Ragtop, I'm hoping to make this. If I got there around 9AM when does this show typically wrap up? I meet a few of the VMOA gang when I did the Al Harris Memorial Car Show.

Of course I had to park it in between the NorCal GTO club. LOL

LOL, I love that pic. I'm actually surprised there were enough 'Monaros' sold in the area to create a club.

The De Anza show has always been on schedule and wraps up by 2-2:30 or so after the 1:30pm awards ceremony. It helps to get there as close to 8am as you can if you're entering your car so you have time to complete the peer judging voting card and turn it in. There are a LOT of cars to look through and I was late last time so didn't even get to hang out near my own car for the show. LOL

I just got mine smogged and likely won't have the registration sticker by the show date, but I think I'll just risk it and drive it over there anyway. Might actually get to take my son to this one, which is rare since he always has Japanese school on Saturdays. Hope to see your beautiful car there!

Oh to be in your position...

You could bring the 85 Mclaren Capri Vert but there's technically no Class for that car, and you'd have to answer all those questions about why your "Mustang" looks so different.

Seriously though, I'd bring the SVO since the early 80s aren't very well represented most of the time.

Hey, just a quick update -- today is the last day to enter and pay only $30 -- after the 8th the price goes up to $40. You can actually do it online in less than 5 minutes by going here, and using Paypal. Great price, great cars, AND a nice high quality T-shirt.

Well, as my luck would have it, I had some health issues that kept me from attending the show. Did anyone else make it?

What did you bring? I was parked next to the other Anny all day. Got a chance to talk to him for a while.

I talked to Kevin for a while too. I love that SVO!

The other 86 didn't want to talk as he was too busy with the show and it was his wife's car.

I didn't attend, but someone from the California Mustang Club posted pics from the show. One of the pics was of your car and a small number of other 4 eye Mustangs.

Curious if you're describing the grey 86 'vert with pony wheels on it. If so, they're long-time members of VMOA and I actually bought my 84 from them.

Hey, ddawson, curious if you're selling a grabber blue Mach 1 on CL -- the pics of it are in the same parking lot as the ones of your Anny that I remember looking at awhile back.

So, I finally got my smog to pass and got the tags put on -- thinking we should meet up near where I work near the Oracle bldgs with our 'verts and grab some lunch sometime.
