I love the big bumber '70 Darts.
My oldest bro. had a '70 Swinger 340 auto with the rally scoops and spoiler. Blue w/ white vinyl top and the white swinger stripe. He also had a 1970 'Cuda 340 - 4 speed pistol grip in Hemi Orange with white highback vinyl buckets. He owned both at the same time during the late '80's when muscle cars were a dime-a-dozen. Now, he kinda wishes he would have kept them.

My Duster is bone stock. A little old lady that lived on my street owned it since new. It has 129k on it and showing its age the inner fender wells are getting crispy. The only option is power steering lol. Funny thing my car was original the same color as yours but the little old lady had it painted a couple shades darker, it has a factory black interior which is in great shape but really sucks on those hot summer days.

The Ford is ahead of the Dodge for now HAHAHA- the Demon will likely make more power than the Stang..

That's cool! I love Grandma cars! I'll probably get mine driving here over the summer and saving up for parts for when it goes under the knife (wanna get XV motor sports SFC's, a MP leaf spring relocation kit, and a 6pt certified cage installed)

it's probably gonna be a 4-5 year project with a turbo slant

nice setup in the demon, I had a 68 baracuda that had the same set up, holley on a clifford 6=8 with dual headers except my headers were on 1,3,5 and 2,4,6 instead of yours that do 1,2,3 and 4,5,6. Made real decent power and got me into the low 14's in the 1/4

The non cross flow head will severely limit hp. But shoot, how many turbo slant 6es are there! Cool cars.

I think the turbocharged Slant 6 would be really cool. Telling somebody you just smoked their big block car with a Slant 6 would be priceless!

There an old guys in my town that has a slant 6 in a dart and it runs 1170s at the track pretty cool.

I love those old Demons, wish I could find one. Big block, it's the right thing to do. Slant six is cool, but you know that big block has more potential. Really depends on what your goal is for the car though.

Nice job on the Mustang too, been checking out your build thread the other day. I like it!
