      Default 85 lx coupe 5.0

      thought I would introduce myself... even though i have been using this site for references for a few years now. I have had the car for about 3 years now and it is finally somewhat how I want it... still needs some work but not too bad for factory paint other than the front bumper that has been repainted..





      the car has been under the knife a little for the last 2 years. I am still trying to get the stance of the car just right. this used to be a CFI car and now is sporting the entire top end and A9L computer of a 91 gt. shortly it will be a stock short block w/ gt40p heads, frpp springs 1.7 roller rockers, explorer intake, 75mm throttle body and nitrous. coming soon with pics. thank you all for your posts and tech information to help a newbee along with his own project

      Do you have a semi black top, gloss black bottom two tone, or is it dark grey on the bottom?

      Yeah... That's my 4 year old daughter.. She would sit down, she loves getting her picture taken with cars..

      As far as I know the car is just the black from 1985 ( i believe its a single stage paint they used back then) I was told the car is factory paint other than the front bumper was repainted. It was really cloudy when the picture was taken

      Car looks really nice........maybe except for the wing but that is just a personal thing. I've been thinking about doing a Black 85-86 GT with that same sort of style for years but now that I see a notch done up that looks pretty damn good also. Black rims with red pinstripe looks really nice with the red body pinstripe.

      I just sold a silver 86 notch a few months back and if it would have been black it would have still been here..........on the way to " Project Black Out "
