    Default Fabulous Fords Forever 2012

Click on the picture below to see my pictures of the show. They said there were 1900 cars this year.
I did not take as many as I would have liked. I do not know where the time went. Only saw about half the cars.
I did not even get to meet Miss Hurst shifter!
Usually the day just drags. And 3 o'clock takes forever in coming.
It was a fun time as usual, overcast skies, not too hot.

If I missed any 4-eyes, I am sorry. Just too much ground to cover.

Forgot to add my pictures of Henry Ford III and the John Force family. I'm too tired to add them now. I will post those tomorrow.
Lots of FREE F/Z info on my site.

A great show as always. I look forward to it all year long and the day flys by faster than I wish it did. It was nice to see Hemlock's capri, I meant to swing back & say hello in person but never got a chance to.

Thanks for sharing your photos!! Allowed me to actually see most of the rest of the show that I didn't see!! :-) I wish I had known you had had your Zephyr out there so I could have checked it out. Being somewhat new and a novice of the F/Z cars, I'm trying to learn as much as I can as fast as I can as I am going to get one. I'm pretty familiar with the Fox Mustang/Capris & LTD/Marquis, but have only had a small experience with the F/Z's. Too bad this show isn't two days, so we have time to gawk and talk!! :-)

I was away from my car most of the day unfortunatly The friend I brought with me is a total car FREAK and he had us out looking at other cars most of the day. The only time I really spent at my car was between 2-3pm and that was only because my friend passed out in the passenger seat LOL. Must have been a late night! Guessing that is why he was almost 2 hours late getting to my house in the morning! The only FEP members I talked to really were Joe(84NavyCat) and another semi regular member here. I don't remember what his name was but we talked for at least 30 minutes, he said he has a almost completely stock 85 GS Capri that is suppose to be in really decent shape. As a matter of fact he is the guy I am talking to in the pic that Red 78 took of my car. I am standing at the back drinking a soda and you can see my buddy Jim crashed in the front seat LOL.

Yes, THANKS for the pictures. There were lots of the LTD / Marquis gang there. Nice. I'll be the first to admit that I like that rose-colored Colony Park woody wagon ---- PLUS I really like the Broncos.

As far as I know ...yes....Drew Phillips took pics of it on Monday after the show. Steve Turner (editor of 5.0) already has the pics.

I dont know if you realize it but the one pic of the car with the tall goofy looking guy is me and the gentleman on the left with the long hair is Steve Turner of 5.0 Magazine.

yes I saw him as well as the other guy when they came by talking to you, sounded like they were really impressed. Having had a car in a magazine before and being able to talk with a mag guy is quite unique. These guys and gals see all kind of cars in every shape and form, when they have interest in your can it is a true compliment IMO, I would have a tough time picking one of the many they have to sort through, something else is sometimes it takes a while for the articles to come out depending on the shoot they are doing it for. CONGRATS, it is deserved
