Default Pre 82 sn95 swap and tierods?

I did the sn95 swap this winter.
I used 2004 spindles/brakes even though I was warned bumpsteer would be Terrible.
The bump steer is actaully nearly gone?
    But my question is...
My outer tierods had to be adjusted wAy out.
There is about 3/8" of inner tierods threads Inside the outer tierod.
I couldn't find anyone else with this exact issue in all of my searching.
    Anyone have some insight?
I put 65 miles on over the weekend with it that way.
But I'd rather have an inch or two before I hit the track.
    Thanks
Pic of me loaded on my way to get it aligned.

Mark VII inner tie-rods will do it. I have even heard 93 Taurus outer tie-rod ends will do the trick, but I have not tried it.

SN95 inner tie rods should be what you want to get. I've done the same thing you did, with the 99-04 setup on the front.

So did you get sn95 inner and outers?
I believe sn95 is different thread pitch?

I've still got the fox rack with fox inner and outer tie rods. But my car is also currently back in Texas while I'm in Florida.

My next upgrade is the SN95 rack, complete end to end.

I ordered inner and outer sn95 tie rods.
Now to try and get them on without messing with my current tow...
On a side note, the PBR twin piston calipers and 11" brakes are light years ahead of the stock 9" brakes.

I like that, a bumpsteer kit and longer tie-rod end all in one package. I might get these, as my inner tie rods are pretty much brand new. Only have 3k miles on them.

I have that kit on my 86 - although I'm using the longer sn95 a-arms for which that kit was designed. Nice piece - I have three autocross seasons on them and a ton of DD and they've held up well.
