Default Finally it runs and drives!

After spending all winter re-doing the top half of the motor it finally runs and drives!

I have to order in the Edelbrock kit with the metering rods because after tinkering for hours with the carb, the timing, and a vacuum gauge, she's still running rich.

Those FUGLY Centerlines are coming off to be replaced with Magnum 500's or Torque Thrusts, and the black R/T stripe will be added, along with a tach, and a new shift boot. The old one was pretty dry rotted and I just haven't installed the new one yet.

Very cool. It's going to look great with different wheels and the stripe. Ever thought of color matching the bumpers to the body? Might work on this. Especially if you went with 17" wheels. Something tells me this is going to be a just a touch thirstier than your vert was.

It looks good and mean. I think torque thrust wheels would look awesome on it.

Yep, thats on my list of things to do this upcoming winter. I've seen other Challengers with that look and I really like it.
