    Default 10 holes restored

Picked up my 10 holes yesterday from a place in Monroe, NC., Prince wheel services of the Carolinas. These are from my 1985 Mustang GT which I purchased in 85. The wheels were pretty chipped and scuffed, etc... They made sure the wheels were still true and balanced then they resurfaced them and clear coated. One can still see the machined finish. Paint was added to the inside and surface where the tire rides. I am impressed and very happy with the result. They would not do the center caps so I am stuck trying to figure out how to refinish them. Unfortunately I do not have close up pics before the restoration. They will look great on my restored stock 85...

    Paul

very nice, they did a nice job on them. i recently had a set of trx's refinished at place somewhat local to me in ohio. they did a very nice job on the face of them. However, i expected the whole wheel to look new like yours. The place that did mine basically just concentrated on doing the face of the wheel and just did a quick cleanup on the inside of the wheel, not nearly as nice as yours on the backside of the wheel.

thanks...I will likely post some pics of my restoration in progress on the body forum. They cost 140 per wheel. A bit pricey but they look great...

when I was in college, the one of the original wheels were scratched and if I remember right I took one off my brother's girlfriends LX (at the time) in place of mine.

Wow they look like brand new! I wonder why they wouldn´t do the center caps?

They said the center caps were too thin. They did not want to risk going too thin and creating a hole.

I was never a huge phone dial wheel fan until I started hanging out on this forum. Between these refinished wheels (which look awesom btw) and the guys who have posted pics of them polished, they are becoming one of my favorite rims. Makes me think I should ditch my pony wheels and put the factory 10 holes back on (I would need to either do the polishing or refinishing first). Thanks for posting, and again, they look awesome!
    Cheers!

did they clear them too. that was about what they wanted to do my trx's, but i didn't have them clear them so it was a little less.

They were machined, cleaned, painted on inside, and clear coated with a powder coat clear. All included in the price. almost look too nice to put on.... Just need to find some good rubber for them.
