And it was a jeep that hit my mothers 1981 Zephyr!

BTW: I don't know how you could forget what car hit your LTD LX.

My GF looked at a jeep when we were looking for vehicles for her. I told her that even though they may be an OK vehicl it still has two things going against it. 1. It's a mopar thats not from the 60's and earlier. 2. I F*@&ING hate Jeeps!

The LTD rear bumper on the Futura sport coupe works very well visually. Too bad the same thing can't be done to the front bumper with the stock Futura nose. I like the stock Futura nose...

I agree that the LTD/Marquis rear bumper/cover visually works VERY well on the Futura. Can you provide mode detail on how this was done? Did you section an LTD/Marquis bumper or the original Futura bumper? What about getting the LTD bumper cover/surround to mate the the rear of the Futura's lower rear quarters?

    Thanks

That is my buddy Pat. He lives in my city. He runs a bbf with two fours on top as his everyday driver. Very, very smart man and that car is amazing in person. Another big fan of Mr. Glidden.

    Hey Rich!

I think your Durango would look awesome with the LTD front end. Just to be a bit different, I've decided to go with the Merc Marquis grille. Haven't made the final decision yet on whether I'll leave the grille chrome, paint it charcoal or paint it body color. Still up in the air on that part!! When do you think you want to do this? Depending on timing, we could compare notes on our progress. I don't even have my Futura yet and the way things are going, it may be another month or more before that happens! :-(

No, they are not. The LTD/Marquis never came from the factory with any fender vents, simulated or functional. They look like they may have come from a late '70's-'80's Camaro.
