Thanks I have it mostly worked out already. I worked it down with the nib file then sanded it with 600. I will let it harden up a little more and will sand it up to 2000 and buff it out.

Starting to see how good your hard work really looks as the pieces are put into place

You should be proud of your results to date.

Several people have asked why I haven't put up any new post lately. Mainly because there's not much to report. This has been a crazy summer so I haven't had much time for the car. I became a grandpa for the first time, had to put a new roof on my house in Louisiana, (which took a big chunk out of the pocket book), and work has been crazy. Things are starting to slow down now so within the next couple of weeks I should be back at it. I am more than ready. I didn't realize the car had so much interest. lol
I have accomplished a few things. The wiring harness is ready to go, and I have cleaned and painted most of the pieces that go in the engine bay.
I am still debating weather or not I need to knock out a couple things that need to be done to my EXP first so I can put full attention on the GT Turbo or try to juggle them?

I'm still subscribing to this thread. After seeing what you've done with this ride, I'm anxious to see how your EXP will turn out. I believe that you are going to have one of the best EXPs in the country. Seriously.

Friend of mine just showed me a post on another site. Looks like this car was sold and the new owner and his daughter are looking at a 2V 4.6 engine and interior swap and repainting it, probably purple. Another Turbo GT gone by the wayside.
1984 Mustang GT owned since 1991 (first car). Mercury Mountaineer GT-40P engine, some suspension mods, currently undergoing a five lug SN95 brake upgrade and more suspension mods. Some minor body and interior mods have been done as well.

Unfortunately this is true but not by choice. He became unable to finish the car due to medical issues.

Not faulting him at all, just wish it had gone to someone who respected what it was.

yeah, I get it. It seems like a lot of them had T tops which are popular and the fact is, they are cheaper to buy because everyone wants a V8. Put those two together and it's a recipe for a V8 conversion. If you are going to bring your own V8, why bother with spending more for a V8 you aren't going to use anyway? I hate it but that seems to be how it goes.

I just hate it because one of these days I want a Turbo GT of my own and now another one is gone. I tried to buy Manir's car before he did, I was a week too late.
