Great pics....I was supposed to make this cruise but had to be at my son's baseball practice. His practice was supposed to be on Saturday but the rain pushed it back to Sunday at 2:00, by the time practice was over it was 3:00 and it was too late to make the show.

Next show I will be there with my Challenger....no if's and's or but's!!!

I think Bill knows the guy so maybe he can elaborate if I miss something.
Long story short - Apparently the guy driving it in the pic was the original owner - and he raced it back in the day. He eventually sold it to another guy that also raced it. That guy blew the motor - swapped it out and ended up letting the car sit not too long after that. YEARS later - the original owner came across the car once again and purchased it back...the original motor was long gone!!! BUT, apparently, somehow, they were able to track that original motor down from person to person as it was still sitting in someones garage for all those years...he got that back and was able to put together the car and now it's #'s matching...

I remember reading something about it on the net not too long ago though...pretty cool and like I said it sounded sick...

Wow, that guy was meant to have that car! Glad it is all back together now and I bet he is like a school kid again behind the wheel

Mike that is exactly correct on the Boss. In fact was with him tonight at a local cruise. He said he always regretted selling it but it put the down payment on his first house, then he kept pining for it and his wife actually helped track it down. Crazy thing is, the car was litterly only 10 minutes from his current house when they finally tracked it down. Motor was a little further to get(mid-west). Car is sick and incredible!! He says he is NEVER letting it go again!!
On a side note, had my car at the cruise too!! So next month, hope to be at friends cruise with my car!!
