Deceased Bucks and a vin #

The first one is a 1982 GL Hatchback. Was an automatic with a 6 (both already gone). My uncle didn't get much from it but, the price was good only $30 for gas to get it home. It looked like Swiss cheese, must of been termites that like metal LOL.

This one is a 1983 GL hatchback that is at a u-pull yard. V6 automatic, pl, manual windows, rear defrost, and center console.

1986 GT bright red, grey interior, pw, pl, ac, rear defrost, and t tops. Not sure about hatch and gas door release. This one was in the same u-pull yard as the 83 GL. The front clip rusted off of the rest of this car. No pics of anything.

I'm not sure of exact year of this one. Late 81 or 82 hatchback. Had some kinda V8 with an automatic but, was a standard at one point (had clutch pedal). Black on black, no power options that I noticed of besides the rear defrost. Also with T Tops. It had a PA classic plate on and somone must of let it sit outside near water, had big hole under the drivers seat and a bunch of snake skins inside. This one was a different u-pull yard.

I'm not sure on this one either. It had an 85-86 LX nose on it but, had 79-82 interior that looked orginal. It must of been wrecked before. I know the tag has GT but, it had a V6 in it. Custom fugly flames that were painted on the front clip. That explains the yellow on the tag. I couldn't read the buck tag and the vin I couldn't verify.

Tag 180952 in post #4 is from a 1981 Ghia. It was originally a four-cylinder and had tu-tone paint (Med. Pewter Met. and Black).

Tag 170453 in post #5 is from a 1986 GT. Since the car in the yard had a V6 and the interior looked original, it's possible the front end/buck tag wasn't original to that car.

The 83 GL is the only one I'd like to know more about. My first car was an 83 GL (I have the vin # somewhere, it's deceased also not by me though). I don't see many GL's. I know they only had them for 82 and 83. When having mine I saw 2 others. 1 83 light-blue hatch and 1 82 yellow notch.
Looks like 2 paint codes and I only saw 1.

I almost purchased '83 GL 5.0L Hatchback with T-tops way back in 1990. I needed something reliable for school, and this would've fit the bill perfectly, but found a fully loaded GT only one week later, at a fraction of the price.

Would be so cool learning that the GL is still around, today
