    I'm in. 85.5 SVO I believe.

155 miles, 3.0 hours from Sunny Southwick to Bethpage. Been there before for another event, beautiful place! Taking Route 8 down to the Merrit to the Hutch, over the Whitestone.

Note that the Mets are playing the Dodgers @ 1:10 at Citifield. That should make it interesting.

I will also volunteer to man the grill, if you need me!

Looking forward to attending and actually having a Four Eye, even though it has only two eyes!

With the way the price of gas is heading, you may want to bring the SVO instead of the Capri, just saying....

I don't do hardly any highway driving with my car. So all local / moderate speeds I'm averaging 23 MPG. And that's with ~1000' elevation change between my house and work. In contrast, my Tahoe is averaging 17 with a combo of highway and local.

Highway should see mid to upper 20's with a properly tuned SVO (assuming you stay out of boost).

The way I drive it? Please! lol. I did get nearly 30 on a round trip to the shore with a little bit of city driving...but OMG it was torture to not boost...but the potential is there so that's all I need! haha

    Capriman86:

I have a bunch of "Highway Miles" under the chassis of my SVO - Probably 3,000 of the 15, 098 currently on the OD.

Have done "one way" runs of 550 miles a few times since new

    I have gotten a Best of 26.5 MPG @ 60-65 MPH.

That's with the AC ON in 90+ degree heat on rips in July and Aug. !

    Two people on board

Overall "Highway MPG" figures out to about 24.7 MPG

SVO is kept in Good Tune.

At maybe $4+ Dollars a gallon by Fox-A-Que time that 26 MPG figure would be "wallet friendly"

No special driving technique - Juts "normal" Interstate cruising - On the Boost for On -Ramp and passing.

    No Feather footing

Hope that helps - Look forward to seeing your SVO at The Que

Super looking 1896 SVO - And I should know !!

It would certainly look great parked along with Esco's White SVO .

But you have a point as to your Beyond Incredible McLaren Capri -

I hear you on Hours -

As long as the IRS doesn't make more of your OT Pay than you do -

    OT can be OK -

    At least SOME OT !!

I'll check back on the 'QUE link over the weekend.

In Detroit until tomorrow Mid Day - Then I get to go home -

Working OT Hours - But on Project Specific Contract Hours there is No Such Animal ----

Always a good thing - A Nice New Clutch - Equals many HAPPY Miles - Not to mention Smiles !

I am awaiting a set of OEM Style ( Walker) replacement Mufflers for the SVO -
Will have them properly installed to keep the "Original Look"

They will enable me to Smile ( and pass NYS Inspection ) and enjoy my miles.

Any success with the Fox-A-Que Reg Link ?
