Feeler for a price on my 82 GT

Hey guys,Im kicking around the idea of selling my 1982 Mustang GT. I was hoping someone might be able to tell me what it might be worth. The Good, Its a 1982 gt non t-top car ( sunroof ), Ive owned it since 1991. I converted the complete power train and complete interior from a 13,000 mile 1989 mustang GT ( Converted in 1991 ) into it while trying to keep the original 4 eye look. It now has 63,000 miles on the odometer. The Bad, There is rust around the sunroof. I removed the headliner. The car is usually under a all weather cover and sometimes stored in the garage. Its dirty as i write this but cleans up nice, paint looks good after a waxing, Added sub frame connectors and steeda clutch cable firewall adjuster and quadrant, i have the original TRX wheels but they are in poor shape. Any input would be appreciated. Thx Ray

Cool car and it looks nice in the pics. How bad is the rust around the sunroof? If the rust is bad enough that it's going to need major body work or worse a new roof skin, then that will be a factor in the value. Hard to say on the value tho, I love it and like the 89 power and interior but some may not. If I looked it over and was very happy with the interior condition, overall body condition and how it runs/drives, my opinion (and we know how much opinions are worth), I would be a buyer around the 4K range if I was looking for a early fox for a nice driver. I do my own body work so the roof I can deal with.. Again that's just my opinion..

Thx dcsmitty, I know its not worth much. The car runs strong and tight also has old school ford motorsport exhaust and an h-pipe. Interior is really nice and clean grey tweed fabric. I might have a vid of it running ill look for it and post it . Like i said its just a feeler thread and i appreciate your honest opinion. Thank you . Yeah, I wasn't fond of the red interior but at $3500 how can you go wrong?

I really dig your 82GT,the EFI conversion is a major plus. Was the front bumper replaced or just repainted? Around the $3500 ballpark is fair,rust on the roof is a killer,depending how bad it is.
