    Default FORD CARLISLE 2012

welp, i know its still early, but this is the big show for me, and one of the few large ones i always make it to. (just never the car) so i figure we should set up a plan.

im defanitely staying the weekend this year, im completely over driving to and from in a one day span. my car is getting trailered out this year so it will DEFANITELY be there too. and no not last years defanitely, it will actually be there. no more dumb pushrod mishaps.

we should set up a common hotel this year, as well as set up a few other activities besides the show/swap meet. (covered bridge run/or a trip to the race track one night)

i for one plan on renting a hotel room where i can park the truck/trailer for the weekend and then just use my car as transport around locally.

what are you far ahead planners doing this year?

The All Ford Nationals at Carlisle is June 1-3, 2012.

I'll be attending as well. Be in a caravan of northeasterners coming from faraway places for deals and for cruising! Booking my hotel this week.

FYI anybody who comes down thursday night, there is a car show about 20 minutes west of me every thursday night, i believe it to be on the path of the guys coming from the northeast as its literally right off a turnpike exit. theres usually a pretty good turnout (30-50 cars) and it would be a cool way to start the weekend.

Not sure where I'm staying this year but I know it's not a hotel, either my house or my bro's house. I'm sure one of us will be having a 4eyed BBQ Sunday also.

Can anyone recommend a hotel with Truck/trailer parking, and a decent restaurant/bar?

most of the chain type places have enough room for truck/trailer.

Paul myself and Marshall stayed at the Days Inn, in York last yr. I am looking into hotels this week but want to stay closer to Carlisle but also need to book for my parents as well as they are going too on Saturday.

After full days at All Ford, I want to get some good rest this yr. Last year was very exhausting.

My dad and I already have our hotel booked and we are thinking about coming up on Thursday instead of Friday so we can do the CJ Pony Parts Cruise on Friday morning.

If you register between Dec. 16th & Dec. 31st 2011 it's $35. After that it's $40. After April 30th 2012 it goes to $50. These prices are for the showfield only for the entire weekend with I believe up to 2 guests.
