The 1979 striping color chart interests me.

Since my build sheet is not readable, always have wondered about:

How did the stripe line worker know which color Cobra decal set to install?
The Green, Orange, Blue, Yellow themes.

Was the door and optional hood graphic separate codes?
One of the mystery codes on the buck tag or something?
Or a code(s) existing only on the build sheet?

And the form, guide, worksheet, (customer order?) the salesman filled out to spec a car...
Or dealer fax or something from the sales man's notes (no pc's back then).
Anyone seen or have one from back then?
Like a VOC or DORA?

Do these links, below, show some of them?

Could these be like a 'master' code list?
The same codes on the door data sticker?

Looking at that list with Polar White and you could have just about any color option!
