    Default 8.8 rear end from Mark VII

    I just bought an 8.8 for my Mustang and wanted to know exactly what I am dealing with. The tag reads:
    S407F
    3L27N88 8F21
    I see ABS, So im a bit scared it might not work.

    S407F = '87 Continental, '87-'92 Mark VII 3.27 8.8 locking 28-spline
    3L27 = 3.27:1 axle ratio, Traction-Lok differential

    88 = 8.8" ring gear
    8F21 = June 21, 1988 build

    5 lug, disc brakes, and wider. What wheels are you planning on?

    Thank you Foxchassis, I was concerned it was going to be too new for my application. I already know the width issue, I will most likely flip the caliper brackets and use shorter axles. I am going with 01-04 bullitts. It dosent look like it has quad shock brackets though?
