    Hey Guys made a 1980's Battery today. What you think?

    I bought a normal 56 battery and had vinyl decals made, sanded the battery with 2000 paper the used dupli-color adhesive promoter let dry then flat white paint

    Thanks you all, my buddy had a new BXT 56 and I pealed the sticker off and scanned it on heavy card stock , trimmed it and glued it on.

    Looks great! Could you simply buy a new bxt 56 battery in black that has the new top decal on it already and then paint the lower and add the motorcraft decal?

    Again...looks great! Just added this to my winter project list! Can you point us to where you got the motorcraft decal?

    Yes you could, I used Flat white. My buddy makes the decals. I will ask for you guys on the cost.
