    Looks Great!

I am not sure if you ever said what the color is? Is it Sonic Blue like your Lightning?

I just wish I had it back now, it is sunny and t-shirt weather where I live today, and should continue through the weekend.

Thanks for the kind words, as for more pics I wanted to take more but the way the car was parked in the shop more wouldn't have been any better.

I have not seen the car in the sun yet to say how close it is to Sonic Blue, but it should be very close--it was before the repaint, see?

Looks pretty close to me in the photo.

So what is the actual paint code then if it's not Sonic Blue?

The color that I sprayed on the hood and nose was a custom mix. The local paint supply named it Chris' Capri Blue in their system. As you can see though it is VERY close to Sonic Blue, 03 Ford paint code SN. If you are truly that interested, I can send you the formula, after all you are in Colorado, the chances of us being parked side by side at the local hot spot is slim.

If the paint company saved the formula you should be OK. Im sure someone on here has a taillight. You should post a list of needs in the parts wanted section asap.

Oh, I have everything already, thanks to a few good members on here I had the parts before the car was even at the body shop for a week.

Thanks to: Plumkrazy--taillight and bumper cover,
R825OH for running around trying to find me a taillight in his neck of the woods--going out of his way and placing some phone calls,
SVO84 for posting a later model grille and providing a smooth transaction, again fellas.

These guys came through, there are some good people on here.

Thanks for the offer. I have actually considered spraying my 84 Capri in the Sonic Blue, but I have not made a final decision yet. I have also considered spraying it the Majic Blue Pearl by HOK that I sprayed on my truck too, but the cost is a bit more than I want to spend to be honest. Then again the new Mustang Kona Blue Metallic is looking pretty good too! Too many great colors and not enough Mustangs/Capris!

Capri is looking great! Glad everything worked out in the end.

I got it back today, so far I am very pleased except for how dirty / dusty the inside of the car and the engine compartment is. Oh well, it will clean up! Pics to come--promise, she is in her bed now and tomorrow is Christmas, I am working 12 hour shifts all next week, AND the weather is going to be crap anyway---but at least I can go look at her!
