Thanks Dave!
Thank you Rod
Yes - my 79 Indy Pace Car also has the single rear fold-down seat.
Thanks Bill
Good to know. I know the 84 SVO had the split rear seat, but was never sure when they changed over...

I found that using some polish and a fine cloth helped with the usual swirls on things like the instrument lens and the warning center. That console looks like new!
I used the Sharpie also and liked it. One day I will look at the chrome tape to see what it's about but would do this again. Looking great Joe!

Ok, today was glass day! Local company came to the house to do the install. I pulled both the front and rear glass a while ago and had them stored in my basement. Now they're finally one with the car again.....
I've kept the inspection sticker just for fun....
In talking with the glass guy, this is the (or maybe an) original windshield, W-900 p/n

Sweet! So close finally! I imagine it's going to be weird to have it finished after this many years.

Actually, not really. I'll just be happy to have it complete. I have the SVO, Pace Car, and Vert to drive....
Yeah, I"m in the home stretch but there is still a pretty good list of small things that needs to be completed.
Thanks. That will go back on once the wet sanding and buffing is complete.

I thought it was medium red 24, but it looks darker to me for some reason. That's color I want when I find a good 82 to restore. Nice work by the way!

Ahhhhhhh the fun of cutting and buffing. Your car will look so nice when you're done though. I like the buffing part, seeing your hard work start to shine.
What compound system are you using to rub your car?
Once again Joe outstanding job on another amazing transformation. WOW !
