How was the inside of the cowl on this car Joe?
Or did I miss that already...
Been away for a little while, but my own 82GT has been on my mind a bit. In turn thinking about my own reminded me of this thread, which I haven't checked in a while.
Joe, again, you never cease to amaze me at the work you are capable of for a "weekend warrior"
Plan on redoing all the T-top weatherstripping?
Welcome back Joe! Not sure about the weather stripping. From what I've read the quality and fit of the aftermarket kits isn't the best....
Quick update:
Removed the "thin" metal:
Started to fab up a patch panel, there are three separate pieces of metal here in this picture:
Patch ready to be welded in.
I'm planning on welding in a few tabs underneath the patch for a bit more strength and to make the patch easier to weld in.
No updates until after Easter weekend.

WOW Joe! It's been a little while since I checked in on this.
You truly love these cars to put this much time and effort into one. The glory will be in the end result. Keep up the good work.

Next repairing the roof skin:
All the welds ground down:
A little bit of filler:
And some primer:
I need just a bit more filler to smooth out the area where the A-pillar meets the black molding, but that will have to wait for now.
Final shot before it gets moved out to make way for some interim projects:
No more posts for a while now, I need a break....
