Article on ID'ing Black Magic and Crimson Cat

Ran this by Mike (negusm) yesterday and he and are going to try to put together an article on identifying a Black Magic and Crimson Cat. What we need from you all are some quality images of your BM or CC. Anyone that has a low mileage or all original example could really help out. Images are needed of:

all four sides of the car and ¾ shots (front & side and rear & side)
'cat head' on the front fenders
pinstripes
stripes in bodyside molding
grill
taillights
TRX wheels (both types)
overall interior (all angles) and of the front and rear seats
door tags, buck tags, and build sheets

If you need tips on how to take quality photographs, i.e. camera settings, lighting, background, angles, etc., I'm sure some of our fellow FEP photograpers would be glad to give you some tips.

I have some of what you need on my computer with regard to my car. I would have to make a run to my storage facility to get the rest, but am willing to do my part to help.

About the only half way decent pictures I have are of the grill.

My good car still sits semi-apart, and the bad one isn't very pretty. So I won't be able to help much with pictures of the whole exterior. But I'll try to get some good pics of some of the smaller things.

i am jacking with my 83 b m right now. not original paint but if you need some info let me know. i am making a 83 asc black mclaren. could not stand the rectangle stripe package and cat head and want something sexy looking. so i gots me some asc toys for it. its 5.0 4-speed. solid roof.

I pulled my 81 out preping for winter and snapped some pics. I don't know how original everything is but here is what I took. Excuse the dust.























Kind of hard to see but the door handle and lock assy are blacked out.





I'm guessing this window trim is stock. The trim I have for the other door was painted black at some time.













Like I said, I don't know how original anything is on this car. A PO swapped a later model k-member and brakes under the front as well as the instrument panel. I hope this helps.

If it is a digital camera you are using, and if you download the photos into your computer, you should be able to upload them to Photobucket

When you click on a photo to view it in your album, you will have an IMG code near the bottom. Just copy that and paste it in your post.
Other members (like Matt(onetrackrider) and myself) would just have to right click a photo and copy the image address, then we just click the mountain picture below the undo button. Just past the address in the text box on the pop up and hit ok.
