Default New daily driver, round four-eyes, with full detail

I purchased a new daily driver, which is the reason for selling the CHP car. It's a pretty unique setup, one of just 253 Grabber Orange GT/CS coupes in '08 (they only built 66 GO GT/CS Coupes in '07). Either way, it took a while to find a nice, low mileage car and this was just it. But as with most cars, it wasn't properly washed so it had some swirl marks in the paint. Put a call in to my detail guy, and he went to town on it. I figured you guys might enjoy the results.

    Pretty amazing stuff!

As for the car, only mod so far is Corsa Extreme exhaust...

Gotta love the GO cars! I almost bought a black CS instead of the 2012, but ended up "needing" the new 5.0 a little more! LOL!

real nice chris. didn't realize the 08s were so limited. There is actually a 07 GO GT/CS at a dealer near me... never realized how rare it was.

    Very nice Chris.

    Here's a pic of mine...

Mine needs a great detail job too. I hate the swirls in my paint.

It's funny Dan, there was actually a Twister for sale on ebay when I bought this car. Glass roof, but no performance mods. Only like 1600 miles. Sadly, I couldn't bring myself to do it because I'll put a lot of miles on this car and I thought that would be wrong to do to a Twister. I've already put 1000 miles on this car and only had it 2 weeks! That's not really typical, but that means I would have doubled the mileage on that Twister already! But one day I might own one

And thanks for the compliments Mike!

Wow, another one in Austin no less? What wheels are you running on yours? That is if that is your car in your Avatar.

I think mine might be in part some of the inspiration for Chris getting his (he's my nephew). I bought mine last October and Chris got to go up to Colorado to get it and drive it home for me. So that's not just two Grabber Orange Mustangs in Austin - it's two in the family! Another friend of Chris' has this GO Saleen Parnelli Jones Mustang and it's just a matter of time till we get all three together for a photoshoot.

Mine's got American Shelby Redline wheels (20x9 and 20x10), which were installed by the original dealer in SoCal when the car was new.

That's it! A little time in the seat of a Grabber Orange mustang and I was sold, only a matter of time before I had to have one. In the picture of the GT-C and the PJ you can see the CHP coupe in the background. That was before I bought the CS. Do I need more abbreviations?

Just to establish my four-eye creds, here's my old '87 coupe. I couldn't find a clean four-eye at the time so I "fixed" the nose on it with the front end from an '86.

Very cool indeed... That is a Grabber collection that is growing in Austin. I saw a Grabber GT last night at our local Houston Westside Mustang club weekly meet. That color really grows on you.
