I have been aware of these for quite awhile, even have a set from them, they are not exactly the same as the originals. Company that produced the originals is still in business. Trying to get worked out for them to offer replacements to those of us with cars needing to replace our stickers.

Not much to tell. Guy (Mike) in the neighborhood had it. It was the same gray color, same wheels, t-tops, 4 speed. He had it built up pretty good, and had NOS on it. I heard he got rid of it, and had a Grand National last time I heard. Looked alot like Pigboy's but obviously not the same one.

I bought a set of wheels and tires for my first 82 GT from a Super Shop located in Blue Springs, Missouri, back in the day. I'm guessing it's the same company?

Pigboy, you beat me, but Earl let me go over to look at the car. I took some pictures and shared some with Steve. I did look at VIN on the T5, the VIN number matched. I have hard time seeing the VIN on the block because there wasn't enough light to read. Since T5 is original, Im pretty sure the block is original too. If the block is original, I would keep it and rebuild everything to original as possible because it will be better investment in the future. It is my opinion.

Drove all day and picked up dominator at 1am in raytown. Drove all night and am 2 hrs from home. Will remeber this as my 10th anniversary day reminder as I remember 10 years ago perfectly 9/11 man I love pork. God bless America and may she withstand the assault on her right now. And she will DOMINATE again. Ooorahhh!

Default FOX: BUCK TAG AND AXLE TAG :BLUEFAN

here is the buck tag and axle tag for 83 dominator

    buck reads mustang
    159683 61b f 0293
    1bb df st
    ac 04 hb s
gt br pw mbw 03 v
    electric-a nlr

    axle reads ?fc r- 3ao3
    ?L08 7 5 S271D

has premium sound and really cool black and blue checkered seat print. low backs. powr windows not locks. cruise. car is a p.o.s. but can be saved. it appears to have some kind of junk azz rust treatment that did nothing as there are several plastic plugs in certain areas that normal cars dont have? has slapper bars. i will tear into it a bit this weekend and maybe i will be rewarded with broadcast sheet? who knows. really wish we knew how many 83 dominators there were?

There is only one way to find out if it is real Dominator, have Steve run the VIN from Marti to see if they was sold from Summit Ford. It cost 15 dollars and few weeks to get an answer.

  16. #41

    Default

You can do that yourself. Takes less than a week. Order a "Standard (Marti) Report" through martiauto.com. That will have a breakdown of the door tag (done above), the original ordering dealer code (but not the name and address), and all of the original equipment. Or a "Deluxe Report" to get everything that is on the Standard Report plus the dealer name and address, an image of the door tag, and production statistics.

So you got a Standard (Marti) Report done? Or was it a Deluxe Report?

Kevin and I have worked out a deal to do a $15 Dealer check. You get no report, just an email confirmation the car was originally sold from Summit Ford.

Yes this car came back as originally sold from Summit Ford.

Congrats, Pigboy. I was pretty confident that it was a Dominator. Matter of fact, I didn't realize there was any discussion otherwise.
